McAfee Internet protection: Manage Devices

When we are using Mcafee Product in our devices ,so this article will help you how to perform the mcafee products and manage the devices.

My Account Portal

To add or remove devices covered with your subscription to Internet protection, use the My Account portal. Settings for specific devices cannot be managed through the My Account portal, that is done within the Application Console.

Add Devices in My Account

  • Sign in to the My Account portal going to
  • To add a device, click the Download on the tab. You can protect up to 20 devices.
  • Choose a product - you have a choice of PC/Laptop, Mac, Smartphone and Tablet
  1. PC/Laptop and Mac have choices for McAfee Multi Access - Internet Protection and McAfee Multi Access - True Key. You may download one first and download the other at a later time.
  2. Android Tablet and smartphone have choices for either McAfee Multi Access - Mobile Security or McAfee Multi Access - True Key. You may download one first and download the other at a later time.
  3. iPhone and iPad mobile security offers McAfee Multi Access - True Key. For more information about True Key click here.
  4. Depending upon the device type, you will receive 1 of 3 options to add devices.

  • If you choose to email the link, enter the email address and select Send. Use the link provided in the email to download.
  • If you choose to receive a text, enter the phone number. You may enter numbers, dashes and brackets but do not enter spaces or special characters. Select Send Text.
  • If you choose to receive the web address, select Get My Code to retrieve the activation code. Note the activation code for reference, and place in the browser to download.
    5.Follow the instructions and option provided.

Removing Devices in My Account

  • At the My Account portal on, use Manage my devices to add or remove from the list of protected devices.
  • If the user removes the software using the uninstall function on the device, they will receive messages during the uninstall warning them the device will no longer be protected.
  • The My Account Portal will reflect the deactivation of the device’s software.
Application Console :
  • To manage settings for a specific protected device, open the console for the program. Changes affect that device only and do not impact other devices covered. 
  • The console is present on any device that has McAfee Internet protection installed.
  • Use the console to perform actions such as setting Parental Controls, checking scans and updates, or removing the software from a specific device.
To access the Application Console :
  • On a PC/Laptop - check for the program icon in the Systems tray
  • On a Mac - check the dock for the program icon
  • To access on a Mobile Device - check the Downloaded Applications

How to Activate Your McAfee Product /Redeem Your Retail Card :When ever we can use Mcafee Product in Our PC  , then we can easily activate our Mcafee product using these steps shown below :Follow these steps to redeem a McAfee software product card that you purchased or freeware .

Your country and language.
